As head of the genome variability program (1998-99) at the French national genotyping center, he also completed with his team the first high density SNP map of the human chromosome 14 (Genomics 70, 153-164, 2000), and invented with Pr Beckmann (co director of CNG) an innovative multiplexing method for doing high throughput SNP discovery using denaturing-high performance liquid chromatography (D-HPLC) that enabled the discovery of novel pathogenic mutations not detected by sequencing (Human Mutation, 16, 518-526 (2000). |
Dr Escary is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences (NYAS), the American Chemical Society (ACS), and was an alumni of the Young Leaders Program (2005) of the French-American Foundation (NY, USA). |
